It comprises 4 main workspaces: Catalog, Templates, Edit and Export.
Luminar AI Catalog
The Catalog workspace will open all your photos and allow you to filter them by keywords, location, date taken etc. With the catalog module you can sort using the flag system or folder system. You can also share it directly into your favourite editors if you need that extra touch up.
Luminar AI Templates
The Templates workspace lets you choose from a range of preset styles such as the or VSCO look. They’re like ‘super’ presets which use AI to analyse the contents of each photo to suggest the best edits – it’s very handy! You can also make folders manually or create albums; they really come in handy when you want a specific type of folder for certain photos.
Luminar AI Edit
Edit gives access to Luminar AI’s most important tools and it’s separated into four different panels:

- Portrait (to give your pictures that perfect portrait look),
- Creative (when you need something fancier than usual)
- Professional if you require anything more precise.
Luminar AI’s Tools Panel has an array of tools that can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate tab down the side: Enhance, Composition, Light, Structure, Colour Adjustments, etc. This are similar to Adobe Lightrooms sliders.
However it’s the Creative Edits where Luminar Ai shines. It’s ability to apply masked layers and replace/ add elements with a simply click.

Finally there are options for saving as a file on disk or emailing them but beware these might be larger files so think about how much space will be needed beforehand.
